No. A City application along with any required supplemental application must be completed for each position you apply for with the City. You may attach your resume to your application, but you must completely fill out the application and any required supplement application.

All candidates will be notified of the status of their applications within four to six weeks after the final filing date of the recruitment for the position(s) they applied for.

You may contact the Human Resources Department at (310) 458-8246 to inquire if the exam is being offered on another day. If it is, you may be allowed to re-schedule provided there is available space.

I’ve been invited to participate in the selection process; however I require special accommodation during the testing process. How do I receive special accommodation?

You must notify the Human Resources Department at least 72 hours prior to the examination and provide official documentation of your condition and a recommendation for type of accommodation.

No, currently the City of Santa Monica does not offer on-line testing. Examinations are administered only at designated City facilities.
