Family Self Sufficiency Program



The mission of the FSS program is to enable Housing Choice Voucher recipients to earn a living wage and become free of government assistance.  

Who can apply:                    

  • Santa Monica section 8 participant

 On Wednesday, April 6, 2011, the Santa Monica Housing Authority hosted its FSS Graduation Ceremony to acknowledge eleven families who successfully completed the program. The graduates had amassed over $160,000 worth of escrow savings collectively. The celebration was held at the Annenberg Community Beach House in the Garden Tea Room.
