The Support Services Division provides internal support to City staff.  The Mail Room and Print Shop supports City departments and typically processes about 400,000 pieces of outgoing mail and prints over 1,000,000 document pages.

The Mail Room provides efficient mail service internally and externally.  All mail is processed and distributed the same day.  Mailroom staff follows the strict guidelines of the United States Postal Service when picking up, handling and delivering mail.  Mail is sorted in a locked and safe facility with no public access.

The Print Shop offers City departments with high quality reprographic services in compliance with the City’s sustainability policies by continuing to use 100% recycled paper, non-toxic supplies and energy-saving equipment.  All jobs are printed on both sides of the paper to reduce waste.  Most print jobs are processed, completed and delivered within 24-48 hours. Any scrap paper is recycled or used to make scrap pads.  The Print Shop is also located in a secured building that handles many confidential City documents for multiple departments.
