FY 2010-11 Budget

Annual Budget Process Begins in November
In November and December, City Manager P. Lamont Ewell and staff will hold a series of neighborhood meetings to discuss community priorities and
how they are integrated into the City’s budget process. Following those meetings, the City Council will set budget priorities for the coming year at the January 26, 2010 meeting and staff will begin crafting the FY 2010-11 budget. This effort involves balancing expenditures against revenue sources that are under increasing pressure from current economic conditions. We will continue to focus on completing significant infrastructure projects, addressing key community priorities, and strengthening core services as resources allow.
We invite all who live and work in Santa Monica to participate in this process:
- Attend one of the community meetings (See box at right)

- Send e-mail to budget@smgov.net
- Send regular mail to the City Council, 1685 Main Street, Room 209, Santa Monica 90401
