There are 3 community gardens locations in Santa Monica. Participation is open to Santa Monica residents, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis. Plots are assigned as they become available in the order in which applications are received. All gardeners must sign an annual licensing agreement and pay a licensing fee of $100 per calendar year (pro-rated by quarter). New gardeners receive an orientation session. Santa Monica residency required.
Please note: Demand for community garden plots far exceeds supply. It may take years before you are assigned a plot.
