Q: What type of documentation do I need to pull a permit?
A: Contractors must provide the following:
- Proof of State Contractor's License Pocket Card
- City Business License
- Proof of valid and current Worker's Compensation Insurance
- Letter of Authorization if applicant is not the license holder
Owner/Builder must provide the following:
- Owner/Builder verification form with original signature from the owner of the building
- Proof of ownership if recent transfer or if owner is a company/corporation
- Notarized Letter of Authorization from the owner if applicant is a tenant or authorized agent
Q: How do I enter a numbered street into ePermits?
A: You can either enter "Third Street" or "3rd St."
Q: I am trying to apply for a permit and I am not a licensed contractor, what do I use for a license number?
A: You can choose "Owner" and then click the dropdown box and select "Owner/Builder."
