Santa Monica, CA.  The Santa Monica Pier launched a rotating art program several years ago and the program continues to be a popular venue for local artists and photographers to showcase their works of art on the walls of the historic Carousel building.

An exhibit featuring artwork from adults and children at UCP of Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties began several weeks ago and will continue through the end of June.  In addition to wonderful paintings, there is a large mural based on an original photograph shot in Nicaragua in 2009, depicting the young recipient of a wheelchair from UCP/Wheels For Humanity as he joyfully rides through the streets of his community with family and friends.

The United Cerebral Palsy exhibit is on display now through the end of June.  Enjoy the artwork of these gifted and inspiring adults and children and perhaps take a whirl on our 1922 vintage hand-carved carousel.

The exhibit is FREE to the public and open during regular Carousel business hours and is closed on Tuesdays. For more information or to book an exhibit, contact Anne Railsback at 310.458.8786.

The iconic Santa Monica Pier offers a variety of entertainment and shopping including Pacific Park amusement park; a historic 1922 Carousel plus specialty shops/carts, eateries, and several full-service restaurants.  The pier is open year-round, and parking is available.
