Fun Spots

• The world-famous Muscle Beach, located
  just south of the Pier, features chinning bars at various heights, parallel bars, rings, small jungle gyms for children and a padded-safe gymnastics area.  Reservations are not required.
   
• Chess Park, located just south of the
  Pier, provides a number of chess tables that are available to the public between sunrise and sunset. Reservations are not required.
   
• Beach Park #1 (on Barnard Way at Ocean
  Park Blvd.), Crescent Bay Park (2000 Ocean Front Walk), South Beach Park (on Barnard Way at Marine Street) and Ocean View Park (2701 Barnard Way) – are all located south of the Pier and open from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.  Picnic tables, benches, children’s play areas, and basketball and tennis courts are available in several parks.  Barbecuing, however, is
